What Inflight Services does Freedom provide?

At Freedom Air we believe flying should be affordable and almost as easy as catching a bus - but a whole lot more fun.

So what we've done is cut out the things you don't need that cost a lot of money, taken those costs off the price of your airfare and then put all our energy into safety, service and searching for crew that love their jobs and want to make your flight a great experience.

If you have any other queries please call us direct on, 0800 600 500 (NZ) or 1800 122 000 (AU).
Freedom Air's International Service

Food and Drink

On Freedom you won't get a free lunch, but you will get a choice! We have taken a big bite off your airfare and given you the option of buying snack packs, cookies, museli bars and chips at a very reasonable price of $1 to $3 dollars. Beer, wines and spirits are also available for $3 to $4 dollars and juice and soft drinks can be purchased for $1. Tea, coffee and water is free, so enjoy!

Inflight Entertainment

Freedom does not offer audio or video entertainment and there is no charge for it either. What we do provide is a free travel guide, 'A Touch of Freedom'. Kids fun books are available free of charge during school holiday periods. You are most welcome to bring your own reading material, and if you are travelling with children it is a good idea to pack suitable toys, books and puzzles in your cabin bag.

We encourage you to bring along your own reading material and suitable toys for children and enjoy the friendly relaxed service of our cabin crew team.

Freedom does not offer frequent flyer points, access to airport lounges such as Air New Zealand Koru Club, or a business class alternative as these all add costs to the airlines operation.
