Milford Sound

Located 158kms northwest of Invercargill, Te Anau is the gateway to the Fiordland National Park and a ideal base to explore Milford Sound and/or Doubtful Sound and the many other major tracks within the Fiordland National Park.
Te Anau is located in the edge of Lake Te Aanu, a natural glacier lake and is a major hub for road traffic and coach services to and from Milford Sound to Queenstown, Dunedin and Invercargill.

Te Anau is approx 2 hours from Queenstown and has a wide range of activities from yachting, river rafting, mountain biking, scenic flights to name a few for the many activities that are available.
